Introduction

Derby Heritage Beer Festival 2025 Museum of Making
The festival brings together over 150 real ales from the best of Britain's breweries, alongside a selection of ciders, world beers and craft keg.
The festival will be held on the ground floor of the Museum of Making, with seating available ina marquee installed for the occasion. A range of food will be provided by the Musum's River Kitchen and there will be live music entertainment over the event. This is an over 18s event. We operate challenge 25 and visitors are advised to bring ID with them. The event promotes cashless payments and this is the preferred method.

The Museum of Making is separate from the festival and will be open from 10:00 to 17:00 each day with free entry.
There is ample seating available both inside the marquee and outside on the paved area.

Opening Dates, Times and Prices

Wednesday 3rd September, 18:00 to 23:00 (free to CAMRA members)
Thursday 4th September, 12:00 to 17:00 and 18:00 to 23:00
Friday 5th September, 12:00 to 17:00 and 18:00 to 23:00
Saturday 6th September, 12:00 to 17:00 and 18:00 to 23:00

Prices:
Entry is £7 and you will need a £3 (refundable) glass. CAMRA members with a valid membership card will receive a free pint with paid entry.
Festival Tickets - book tickets with this link. This includes a £3 refundable glass and an 84p booking fee.
Walk-Ins are allowed on the day subject to capacity. So we recomments purchasing a ticket to gaurantee entry.
CAMRA members get free entry on Wednesday evening.

Location and Directions

Address: The Museum of Making, Silk Mill Lane, Derby.
The Museum of Making is very close to the Silk Mill and Dolphin pubs.

Railway: The train station is approximately 20 minutes walk away. Head towards the city centre and continue past the bus station, Morledge, Council House, Premier Inn and across Cathedral Green.
Bus: The bus station is approximately 10 minutes walk away. Head right along Moreledge, past the Council House, Premier Inn and across Cathedral Green.

The River Kitchen in the museum will serve a range of hot and cold food.
