CAMRA Good Beer Guide

Every year CAMRA publishes the Good Beer Guide, packed with 4,500 of the best real ale pubs in the UK and information on every real ale brewery currently operating and their key beers. Derby CAMRA are responsible for the entries that are in our area. Initally these are based on data from the National Beer Scoring database, so help Derby CAMRA select the best pubs in the area, please remeber to submit scores for each real ale you try. Scores can be submitted though WhatPub.

Good Beer Guide 2026

The Good Beer Guide 2026 was launched on the 25th September 2025 at a super social evening hosted by the Hoppy Place in Chaddesden. The Hoppy Place is the first pub in Chaddesden to be in the Good Beer Guide.

Copies of the Good Beer Guide 2026 are available at a special price from the following outlets:
