Ashbourne Beer Festival

6th Ashbourne & District CAMRA Beer Festival 2018

The 6th Ashbourne & District CAMRA Beer Festival (2018) will take place between 6th and the 9th September at Ashbourne Town Hall. A warm welcome is extended to all. Children are allowed, but must be accompanied by an adult and we do ask that they vacate before 19:00 (7pm).

 

Volunteering

As with all CAMRA beer festivals, Ashbourne Beer Festival is staffed by volunteers. I you would like to help and can offer any amount of time, please fill in the staffing form (click on link) and return to the address at the top of the form. Volunteers will receive a free T-shirt and also have a beer allowance.

Getting There

Please check timetables before travelling, but here are some hints and links to getting to Ashbourne.

From Derby - The Swift runs approximately hourly throught the day and every other hour in the evening. The last bus back is 22:15 (Thur & Sat) 23:45 (Fri) from Ashbourne bus station. This is supplemented by the route 114, which also serves Derby Railway Station and runs every two hours, the last bus from Ashbourne being 18:30.

From Matlock - The 110/111 runs approximately hourly throughout the day, the last bus being 17:10 (Mon-Fri) and 16:10 (Sat).

From Belper - There is a limited service direct to/from Belper on the 113.

From Buxton - The 442 service runs through the day.

From Leek - The 108 runs direct from Leek approximately every two hours with the last bus from Ashbourne being 18:35.
